Fort Myers Federal Court

Fort Myers, FL

This significant downtown Fort Myers neo-classical style building is listed on the National Historic Register. Completed in 1933, it has undergone modifications over the years. Initially serving as a local post office until 1964, it was repurposed as a Federal Courthouse in 1965. The Federal Government vacated the building in 1965, after which it was acquired by the City of Fort Myers in 2000.

Alliance Design Group, P.A., conducted an assessment to determine the building’s current compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
