With the ambitious aim of modernizing the elementary school prototype and integrating Pre-K functionality, this project sought to accommodate a total of 1,034 student stations. The result? A new, contemporary two-story elementary school spanning 127,745 square feet. This endeavor involved revamping the elementary plans that The School District of Lee County had relied on for over 17 years. Executed in two phases, Phase 1 prioritized designing the envelope and exterior to align with the lengthy lead time of steel, while Phase 2 focused on interior fit-out. Despite the accelerated timeline, both phases were seamlessly fast-tracked and completed on schedule.
